Eastern Region ABM
Ken has been a proud member of Local Union 669 since 1997. In 2008, he was elected to the Finance Committee, representing the Eastern Region, where he served with dedication for two full terms until 2014. That same year, he advanced to the role of Business Agent for District 19, covering Eastern New York. In 2025, Ken was appointed Assistant Business Manager for the Eastern Region, continuing his commitment to serving the union and its members.
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Ken is an avid New York Yankees fan. He enjoys spending his free time hunting, fishing, and playing golf, along with participating in a variety of other sports. Above all, Ken treasures time with his loving wife and their two wonderful children, making family a top priority whenever possible.
Western Region ABM
Steven started his fire sprinkler career in 1995 in Portland, Oregon. He spent 18 years in the field, mostly in the Oregon & Washington area, along with a 5-year stint in Las Vegas between 1999 and 2004. In 2013, Steven became a Business Agent in District 1 and was elected 10 years later (2023) to Assistant Business Manager of the West Region. Steven has served on many different boards and committees within the UA Pipe Trades, Building Trades, and NFPA.
When not at work, Steven enjoys time at home with his wife and two boys. He enjoys camping, golfing, fishing, hunting, and watching college football.
Central Region ABM
Robert Johnson is a former US Marine Infantryman that has been a member of Local 669 since 1987. He spent 18 years in the field working as a Sprinkler Fitter before being elected as Business Agent for the state of Michigan for 10 years. In January of 2017 Johnson became the Assistant Business Manager for the Central Region. He is a 3rd generation Local 669 Sprinkler Fitter, a 2nd generation Business Agent, and a 2nd generation Assistant Business Manager.
Robert is a proud father to his daughter Ashlyn who is 25 years old, son Zack who is 27 and a 4th generation Sprinkler Fitter, and a grandfather to 3 adorable grandchildren. He has been married for 30 years to his beautiful wife, Melissa May. Robert loves to hunt and fish and he especially enjoys Ice fishing big water walleye on the Great Lakes. He also loves his 3 Chihuahuas more than he loves most people.
Southern Region ABM
Bill has been a proud member of 669 for 34 years, and an employee of the Local for 20 years. He is currently the Assistant Business Manager for the Southern Region. He enjoys playing an active role in all areas of serving our membership, especially helping to settle grievances for members.
In Bill’s free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, four children and the family dog. Their outdoor activities involve camping, fishing, sport shooting and mountain biking. Bill has been hunting his whole life and has visited every region of our country to hunt various wildlife. He recently took up waterfowl hunting with his boys, and it is quickly becoming his favorite past time. When he isn’t hunting, he can be found cooking with his eldest daughter or riding ATVs with his wife.
