To: All Members
Officers, Staff and Field Personnel
From: Business Manager Brian W. Dunn
Subject: Meeting Suspensions and Travel Restrictions
Date: January 7, 2021

Due to continued issues related to the COVID-19 virus I am directing office staff and field personnel to continue actions previously implemented in order to slow the spread of the virus.

Therefore, I am extending through Friday, April 30, 2021 the suspension all Union Meetings, Training classes, and Social gatherings planed throughout Local 669’s jurisdiction. Along with this I am directing all field personnel employed by Local 669 to cancel all non-essential travel and work remotely from their Home Office as much as practical.

In following the CDC guidelines and recommendations, I feel it is not practical nor in the best interest of our members safety to plan the hosting of large gatherings during the timeline stated. In leu of 1st round physical meetings, the National Officers will be posting an official state of our Union report. This report will consist of video by your National Officers and accessible by way the members only portal. Look for additional information regarding access to this report in the following months.

I want to assure you that Local 669 will continue to represent the hard-working Men and Women of this Local during these trying times. Please do everything possible to ensure your safety and your fellow workers safety on the job sites by following CDC and OSHA guidelines.

Until we are once again able to meet collectively, I’ll continue hope for the health and safety of our members and their families.

Fraternally,
Brian W. Dunn
